These Terms apply to all visitors, users, trial account holders, and paying subscribers.
About Abilite
Abilite is a cloud-based internal audit management software platform designed to help organisations plan, execute, report, and follow up on internal audits. The platform is operated by Abilite and is accessible at abilite.co.

To access the full features of the Service you must create an account. When registering you agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

Abilite reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, are found to contain inaccurate information, or are used in any way that may harm the platform, other users, or third parties.

Resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit the Service or any part of it without written authorisation from Abilite. Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the platform.
Subscription Plans and Payments
Abilite offers both a free trial and paid subscription plans. The specific features included in each plan are described on the pricing page of the website. Paid subscriptions are billed on the cycle selected at the time of purchase, either monthly or annually.
All fees are non-refundable except where required by applicable law or as otherwise stated in your subscription agreement. Abilite reserves the right to change pricing at any time with reasonable notice provided to existing subscribers.
Failure to pay applicable fees may result in suspension or termination of your account.
Intellectual Property
All content on the Abilite platform including but not limited to software, code, designs, logos, text, graphics, and documentation is the property of Abilite and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Nothing in these Terms grants you ownership over any part of the Service.
You retain full ownership of all audit data, reports, findings, and other content you upload or create within the platform. By using the Service you grant Abilite a limited, non-exclusive licence to host, store, and process your data solely for the purpose of delivering the Service to you.
Data Security and Confidentiality
Abilite takes the security of your audit data seriously. The platform employs industry-standard encryption, multi-factor authentication, and role-based access controls. However, no system is completely secure. You acknowledge that you use the Service at your own risk and that Abilite cannot guarantee absolute security.
You are responsible for ensuring that the data you upload to the platform complies with all applicable laws and does not infringe the rights of any third party.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Abilite shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages including but not limited to loss of profits, loss of data, loss of business, or reputational damage arising from your use of or inability to use the Service.
Abilite’s total aggregate liability to you for any claims arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the total amount you paid to Abilite in the twelve months preceding the claim.
Service Availability
Abilite aims to maintain high availability of the platform but does not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to scheduled maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control. Abilite will endeavour to provide advance notice of planned maintenance where possible.
Third-Party Integrations
The Service may integrate with or link to third-party tools and services. Abilite is not responsible for the content, accuracy, or practices of any third-party services. Your use of third-party integrations is subject to those parties’ own terms and conditions.
Termination
You may cancel your account at any time by contacting Abilite through the contact page at abilite.co/contact. Abilite may terminate or suspend your access to the Service immediately and without notice if you breach these Terms or if continued provision of the Service is no longer commercially viable.
Upon termination you may request a copy of your data within 30 days. After this period Abilite reserves the right to delete your data in accordance with our data retention policy.
Governing Law
These Terms and any disputes arising from them shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Abilite operates. Any disputes that cannot be resolved informally shall be submitted to the courts of competent jurisdiction.
Changes to These Terms
Abilite reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. When material changes are made the updated Terms will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Your continued use of the Service after the changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
